Finally made it back to one of my favorite places in Ontario, Prince Edward County!

We stayed at Angeline's Inn, a cute Inn and Motel spot located in Bloomfield.  It is honestly so convenient for a weekend away  since your car is parked right in front of your room!

A Fun Summer Activity to do

Did you know you can book a spot at the pool of the Lakeside Motel from May to September? Here is all the info you need to know:

Day Pass $35 + tax
10 + under $22 + tax
2 + under Free

Obligatory:

• Rent a towel (deposit of $25 but get it back at the end of the day when you return it)
• Single Lounge Chair, Pool Access, Towel Service.
• ID and Waiver Required
• no outdoor food, drinks, water bottles/tumblers permitted.

They have water carafes for everyone around the pool and you can either get lunch on their patio or get it right at your lounge chair!

The pool opens every day at 10AM but since it is a very popular location on a hot summer day, I advise you to be there at 9:30-9:40 to ensure a spot at the pool! And don't forget to enjoy the lakeside chairs while you are there, it is also accessible the pass!

Breakfast and Coffee

• Wander the Resort for brunch

Definitely a popular place near Wellington! This is a newly opened hotel and restaurant and the place to be for brunch. Offered Saturday and Sunday!

• Drake Devonshire

Another stunning lakeview location for breakfast! I advise you to get a reservation as it is popular! They also have fun happy hour offerings.

• Brunch at Creekside Cafe

Open Friday to Tuesday for brunch this is a great place to sit down on a patio and enjoy a good brunch! *Picture from last year's trip

Wineries and Distillery

• Pizza and Wine at Norman Hardie

Located on a clay limestone hill this is easily one of the most popular wineries of the area! You can visit the winery year-round to taste their internationally acclaimed wines.

• Enjoy Cocktail and Hot Dogs at Old Salt Cocktails

Located at 883 Closson Road, this is one of the coolest concepts I've seen: It's a cocktail food truck!! Open Seasonally from May to October it's definitely a must.

• Go taste some spirits at Kinsip

Kinsip House of Fine Spirits is a farm-based, grain-to-glass distillery and they offer on site tastings of their spirits as well as offer a cocktail menu that is definitely worth checking out!

Dinner

• Flame + Smith

When I say this is a must visit... I really mean it! From the food to the cocktail to everything in between it was an amazing meal!  We will definitely be going again and again!

• The Lakeside Motel (for their terrace until mid september!)

Their terrace is a summer classic with an amazing food menu and a stunning waterfront view.

• The Royal Hotel

This new hotel located in Picton was an amazing discovery! Serving Italian food on their terrace and inside it is definitely a new location to check out!
