Heart-shaped pavlova with vanilla cream & poached prunes

Ingredients
3 egg whites
340 gr of sugar (1 cup + 90gr)
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 tsp vinegar
1 cup water
1 tbsp vanilla
1 cinnamon stick
1 star anise
1 cup of California Prunes
1 cup of whipped cream or vanilla chantilly cream
Preparation
Meringue:
Whisk 3 egg whites, 90g sugar, 1 tbsp cornstarch, and 1 tsp vinegar for 5 minutes.
Pipe meringue hearts and bake at 300°F for 45–60 minutes.
Prunes:
Boil 1 cup sugar, 1 cup water, 1 tbsp vanilla, 1 cinnamon stick, and 1 star anise for 3 minutes.
Add 1 cup of rehydrated California Prunes and poach for 10 minutes. Cool completely.
Assembly:
Layer meringue, vanilla or whipped cream, poached prunes, and syrup. Enjoy!
