Mistral Snowglobe Cocktail

The Mistral Gin created by blending 6 typical plants of English gin & 6 from Provence offers a very original twist on a classic gin. I wanted to create a winter wonderland themed drink with fresh flavors and so Trang and I decided to mix together rosemary & cranberry and so the Mistral Snow globe came to life.

Here is the recipe:

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 oz of Mistral Gin
  • 1/2 oz of lemon juice
  • 1 oz of cranberry juice
  • 1/2 oz of rosemary simple syrup
  • crushed ice to create a slushy type of cocktail
  • rosemary leaves
  • 3 litchis

Instructions

  1. To create the rosemary simple syrup heat together 1 cup of water, 1 cup of sugar and 1/4 cup of rosemary leaves. Let infuse for 5 minutes and let cool down.
  2. for the snowman use toothpicks to stick together the 3 litchis and add small rosemary branches for the arms. Freeze the snowman.
  3. in a mixer, place all the ingredients together with ice and mix.
  4. In a glass, place your "slush" crushed ice, pour the cocktail and add your rosemary leaves to act as trees and your snowman!
